Arrowtown, Wanaka, Hawea, Luggate and Makarora make up the Queenstown Lakes District.
Queenstown is situated on the shores of Lake Wakatipu and overlooks the majestic
Remarkable mountain range. Lake Wakatipu is over 378 metres deep and 82 km in length.
The lake rises and falls by 12cm every five minutes. The Remarkables were named
because they are the one and only mountain range in the World that run truly North-South.
