We specialise in hospitality on the Whanganui River. If you would like to see spectacular
natural scenery, enjoy great food, organic coffee, and fun company, come with us
- Brent and Claire Firmin, your proud tangata whenua hosts. We can take you to The
Bridge to Nowhere or The Flying Fox, or on a jet boat tour with canoe option, either
in 2 person canoes, or in a 20 person waka, a great cultural experience.

We can also tailor trips to your requirements - perhaps you would like to have a
picnic on the riverbank. We'll find a lovely spot to boil the billy. Just let us
know, and we will come up with a little treat. There is so much of the Whanganui
River that is only accessible by water and our jetboat is the way to do it!

The Waitomo Caves gets 500,000 visitors a year; the Tongariro Crossing has 40,000 walkers per season; the Whanganui River has only 4000 people in total and most of them travel between Christmas and New Year - and Easter. You'll never get a better chance to experience a NZ Great Walk with so few people.
