I happened upon your website following a Google search, looking for a cost-effective rental car solution for a trip my husband and I will be doing in November, joining 4 relatives for a holiday around the Nelson area. They have booked their own rental car and we wanted to book a smaller car just for us (or when the girls and the guys split up to go shopping one way, fishing the other!). I just wanted to commend you on a number of things, having made our booking: - Your website is very well constructed, intuitive and easy to use (I’m a web editor by trade). - Your rates, conditions, choice, and insurance coverage are very competitive and very simple to understand. - Specific features on your website/e-commerce aspects are great – the ‘click here and we’ll call you’ feature, the emailing of confirmation information, the provision of an Express registration feature, the way the left hand frames on the home page stay static when browsing to other pages/frames, the quote calculation feature, and the way any inputted information is not lost if a person inadvertently clicks away from a booking page and needs to go back. Well done! I’ll certainly be recommending your company and its website to other people I know who need a rental car

We were so happy with the way it all worked out, the kids were so tired they slept as soon as we left the airport so it was great to have the car right there with no waiting to sign forms and to drop it off in the same place was so easy. My wife and I have just returned from a thoroughly wonderful trip in New Zealand. We have, since we’ve retired, been very lucky to be able to travel to various parts of Europe, theU.S.of A and New Zealand. We rented a vehicle on line from Roadtrip before we left Canada and picked it up in Christchurch (downtown). Please thank your employee Pam who delivered and accepted the car to/from us. It is the first time that I have been treated as an adult in a car rental agency. At no time did Pam try to scare the hell out of us re. insurance, we were covered, I knew it and she accepted that as fact without comment. She inspected the car thoroughly with us and sent us on our way. When we returned the same attitude was evident. Her attitude was terrific. We had a great time. We were honored and proud to have paid New Zealand a visit. And we will be back.

I would just like to express our satisfaction with our recent Roadtrip car hire. The cars were fine. However, what we particularly enjoyed was no additional sales pitch when we arrived to pick up the cars. We had pre-booked the full CDW. Its the first time we have picked up a hire car and not had a hard sell on extras, even when we think we have booked full insurance. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We will be recommending you to others. If we should return to New Zealand (we would love to), we would definitely book Roadtrip again. One small suggestion. When we were picked up at Auckland airport, there was some confusion over who was being picked up (we took the last space in the van). Perhaps taking peoples names and giving them to the driver would be helpful. Anyway, thanks again for a positive experience.

I recently rented a car from Roadtrip for circa 2 weeks while we toured New Zealand. We have just returned to Australia and I just want to let you know how pleased we were with the service we received from your company. The initial booking process was excellent with the call facility and very friendly helpful staff who did everything possible to assist us through a number of changes to plans. The pick up from the hotel in Auckland was on time, the staff friendly and efficient. The car (whilst experiencing a few squeeks and groans from the suspension) was reliable, economical and well presented. Unfortunately we had to hire from another company for our Dunedin-Christchurch link after completing the Otago Trail ride as you don't have a Dunedin office - perhaps a thought for future development! While their service was fine, it did not show the special friendliness and helpfulness we experienced with Roadtrip and their charges were much much higher. Thanks for your part in making our New Zealand holiday one of our best ever.
